Summary:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. You will build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats. Your typical day will involve working on various aspects of DevOps, including continuous integration, deployment, and security.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate the deployment, scaling, and management of applications and infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps tools and technologies.
- Assist in defining and implementing security best practices for the infrastructure.
- Provide technical guidance and support to development teams.
- Conduct performance testing and optimization of CI/CD pipelines.
- Document and maintain the configuration and architecture of the infrastructure.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps.
- Experience with continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
- Solid understanding of security best practices and experience implementing security measures.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
