Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using Azure and AWS services.
- Implement and manage continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for applications hosted in cloud environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments.
- Monitor system performance and reliability, leveraging monitoring tools and implementing proactive solutions to optimize cloud resources.
- Ensure security best practices are implemented and maintained across cloud environments, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot issues across the entire stack: hardware, software, application, and network.
- Evaluate new technologies and tools to improve efficiency and performance of cloud infrastructure.
Required Skills
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience as a devops engineer.
- Strong expertise in Azure and AWS cloud platforms, including but not limited to compute, storage, networking, managed identities, application gateway, load balancer, WAF, and security services.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, CloudBees, Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline).
- Experience on SCA tools like SonarQube or mend.
- Expertise in release strategy and automation.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation tasks.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security principles in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Desirable Skills
- Certifications in Azure (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer) and/or AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
- Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) in cloud environments.
