Job Summary
The Senior Engineer – Atlassian DevOps & Cloud Migration is responsible for leading, managing, and modernizing the organization’s DevOps and collaboration tooling ecosystem. This role focuses on the administration, optimization, and migration of Atlassian Data Center environments—specifically Jira and Confluence—to Atlassian Cloud.
The position plays a critical role in maintaining reliable DevSecOps platforms, supporting cloud transformation initiatives, and ensuring operational excellence across development infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the administration, maintenance, and migration of Atlassian Data Center environments (Jira, Confluence) to Atlassian Cloud.
- Design, maintain, and manage Linux-based cloned environments for DevOps tools to support testing, upgrades, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Manage and support DevSecOps platforms, including Sonatype Nexus, SonarQube, TFS, and GitHub Enterprise.
- Oversee platform governance, system health, and operational best practices across collaboration and DevOps tooling.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and integration issues across the DevOps toolchain.
- Automate administrative and operational tasks using Python scripting and REST APIs.
- Plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and performance improvements.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, procedures, and system architecture diagrams.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure scalable and secure DevOps platforms.
- Drive continuous improvements in tool reliability, automation, and operational efficiency.
