Overview
The AWS DevOps Engineer plays a crucial role in our organization, being responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing our AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and scalability. This role is essential in enabling our development and operations teams to deploy code and deliver value to our customers efficiently.
RequiredSkills
- Ability to use and adapt a variety of open source technologies and tools (Openshift, Jenkins, Docker, Bird, CI/CD pipeline, Argos, Promothios)
- Ability to code and script (e.g. Shell, Ansible playbooks, python, perl)
- Experience with production level Applications management
- Good Experience on Linux Platform, Apache/Jboss knowledge
- Experience with systems, data stores and IT operations
- Experience in R&D or Global operations organization
- Experience Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management
- Git/Bit Bucket, AZURE work experience
- Understanding of basic network concepts (e.g. communication, 7-layer OSI, routing, firewalls, TCP/UDP, TCP handshake)
- Strong grasp of automation tools
- A strong focus on business outcomes
- Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
