Project Role Description : Provides assessment of existing solutions and infrastructure to migrate to the cloud. Plan, deliver, and implement application and data migration with scalable, high-performance solutions using private and public cloud technologies driving next-generation business outcomes.

As an Infrastructure as Code Engineer, you will be responsible for provisioning and configuring infrastructure across the DevOps architecture using code and APIs. Design, implement, and maintain automated build, deployment, and configuration management systems for multi-tier applications. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable application deployments. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools.

Cloud Platform Expertise:
• Expertise in one or more cloud platforms such as AWS, AZURE, GCP, VMWARE, OCI etc
• Certified in one or more clouds is a must
Infrastructure Automation:
• Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using Terraform/ Cloud Native tools
• Collaborate with infrastructure architects and DevOps engineers to define infrastructure requirements and translate them into automated deployment scripts
• Implement best practices for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using IaC principles
• Leverage shell scripting (Bash, PowerShell) to automate routine tasks and enhance operational efficiency
• Terraform Associate certification is an added advantage
Configuration management:
• Ansible Installation and Configuration
• Install and configure Ansible to manage and automate infrastructure tasks efficiently
• Design Ansible playbooks, roles, and inventories to streamline automation processes
• Experience in shell scripting

CI/CD Implementation:
• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, test, and deployment processes. (Jenkins, Cloudbees, Cloud Native tools, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• Good Understanding on any IaC Scanning tools like GitLeaks, Chekov, TFLint
Source Code:
• Hands-on knowledge of GIT commands and branching strategies using GitHub or BitBucket
• Implement GitOps methodologies to manage and synchronize infrastructure and application configurations using version-controlled repositories
• Collaborate with development teams to enforce best practices for version control, branching, and code reviews
Container Orchestration:
• Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their Kubernetes offerings (EKS, GKE, AKS).
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes for scalable and portable application deployments.
• Manage and deploy applications using Helm charts, ensuring consistency and ease of deployment.
• Certification is must.
Application Deployment :
• Ability to build CICD pipelines to deploy applications
• Understanding & Knowledge on DevOps methodologies of App Deployment tools
• Knowledge of webapps (weblogic, Tomcat, Apache, IBM HTTP etc) and their configuration, troubleshooting
• Basic understanding of libraries/artifacts on various application programming Java, J2EE, .Net, Python
• Working knowledge of schedulers (control M, Autosys etc)
• SSL/TLS certificate management for the applications
• Knowledge on how to work with APIs and should have working knowledge of cloud APIs
Security Implementation:
• Implement security measures throughout the DevOps lifecycle, including code scanning, vulnerability assessments, and access control
• Ensure compliance with security standards and industry regulations
Monitoring:
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track Application changes, detect anomalies and troubleshoot issues
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.
