Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Release Process Implementation: Oversee the implementation of a consistent and scalable release process across 15-20 Salesforce orgs.
- GitHub Management: Manage DevOps practices using GitHub for the core European model, ensuring efficient code deployment.
- Integration: Collaborate with local providers to ensure seamless integration with the core model.
- Training and Support: Provide guidance to team members on the established release process.
- Center of Excellence (CoE) Setup: Assist in establishing a CoE for Salesforce DevOps, sharing best practices and training.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation and provide regular performance reports.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Masters degree is a plus).
- Experience:
- 5+ years in DevOps, CI/CD, and release management.
- Proven experience implementing DevOps in complex environments with multiple orgs.
- Experience managing DevOps using GitHub, including code branching and version control.
- Preferred: Previous experience with Salesforce environments and deployment strategies.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in GitHub and version control systems.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools and frameworks.
- Experience with Salesforce DX and deployment tools (e.g., Gearset, Copado).
Soft Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Leadership skills to mentor team members.
