Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS and Terraform for our team. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of hands-on experience in managing cloud infrastructure, automating processes, and ensuring high system availability and performance. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Create, manage, and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment processes.
- Automate monitoring, alerting, and incident response for cloud environments.
- Optimize infrastructure for scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to integrate DevOps best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
- Implement and manage cloud security best practices, including IAM roles and policies.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize workloads.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and CloudFormation.
- Strong experience in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes/ECS).
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or Datadog.
- Hands-on experience with Linux system administration and scripting.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPC, VPN, DNS, Load Balancers).
- Experience in automating infrastructure, configuration management (Ansible, Puppet), and scripting (Python, Bash).
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer Certification.
- Experience with multi-cloud environments.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
