Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud technologies including compute, storage, network, and databases.
Infrastructure Consulting/Implementation: 5+ years of enterprise-level infrastructure consulting or implementation experience.
Automation and Scripting: Experience with Ansible, Powershell, or other automation environments and scripting technologies.
Workload Migration: Experience migrating workloads from on-premise to cloud.
Infrastructure Support: Focus on infrastructure support, design, build, deployment, and system hardening.
Network Technologies: Experience with network technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools.
AWS CDK: Experience using AWS CDK for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation.
Cloud Security: Thorough understanding of cloud security fundamentals, including encryption, key management, identity, shared cloud security, logging, and monitoring.
Cloud Models: Extensive knowledge of on-premise (private), off-premise (public), and hybrid cloud models, along with cloud implementation service models (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS).
Technical Communication: Ability to communicate with management and technical personnel on cloud adoption and usage topics.

Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Design: Design, create, configure, and deliver cloud infrastructure environments for various environments using best practices and business acumen.
Cloud Implementation: Lead and oversee the cloud infrastructure environment construction and implementation during the life cycle of the solutions.
Evaluation and Improvement: Evaluate the success of architecture, network, security, and environment designs as they are implemented. Evaluate strengths and flaws for continuous improvement.
Collaboration and Communication: Communicate with management and technical personnel on cloud adoption and usage topics continuously. May be required to represent EIT in a project as a technical lead and coordinate with other EIT personnel.
Best Practice Configurations: Design cloud infrastructure environments with best practice configurations for systems including databases, web services, messaging systems, and other application support environments.
Project Requirements Translation: Translate project requirements from architecture/environment diagrams to identify and remediate design gaps.
Security Solutions: Review and analyze architecture-level security solutions to transform them into cloud infrastructure designs and implementations.
Strategic Relations: Establish strategic relations with key technology vendors to influence changes in future product releases.
Research and Benchmarking: Research and benchmark best practices and/or products in the area of cloud technologies. Routinely gather and assess changing client business needs.
Enterprise Technology Strategy: Analyze and modify enterprise technology strategy and architecture. Analyze how business processes interact with technology to create value for the business.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all product development activities adhere to regulatory standards and quality assurance processes.
Documentation: Document cloud design guidelines for new business applications and porting existing business applications to align with a cloud model.
Process Improvement: Lead process improvements, enhance control maturity, and communicate risk across assigned GRC service activities.
Vendor Management: Respond to security assessments, questionnaires, and audits from clients and third-party business partners promptly. Document and perform assessments and review contracts for security requirements.
Policy Management: Write technical policies, standards, and communications. Lead the creation and maintenance of security policies, standards, processes, guidelines, and support documentation.
Assessment Management: Ensure appropriate treatment of risk, compliance, and assurance from both internal and external perspectives.
Advisory Services: Serve as a subject matter expert for Information Security, consulting with technical and non-technical management and staff.
Security Awareness Management: Ensure security awareness training is aligned, defined, and executed. Evaluate cyber training/education courses and methods based on instructional needs.
GRC Platform Administration: Administer the GRC technology platforms.
