About Position:
A DevOps role in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) involves using tools and practices to improve and automate the deployment and integration of applications, infrastructure management, and monitoring.
- Role: GCP DevOps Engineer
- Location: Gurgaon (All 5 days WFO)
- Experience: 6-10 years
- Job Type: FTE
What You'll Do:
- Expertise in building up and managing observability platform form for large organizations (Monitoring, Logging, Metrics, Distributed Tracing etc.) with tools like Site 24x7, Grafana, Dynatrace etc.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes based platforms setup
- Strong knowledge one of a NoSQL administration like Elastic, Mongo, Redis etc.
- Working knowledge of the Agile methodology of software development
- Experience with integration of best secure practices in end-to-end DevOps Culture (i.e., Implementation of shift left approach where security starts from Development Kick off)
- Experienced with building, debugging, operating systems, databases and infrastructure at scale
Expertise You'll Bring:
- Strong coding and Linux scripting skills and experience with implementing high-scale cloud architectures using modern, cloud-based container platforms (PaaS/SaaS). Knowledge of Java/ Python is a big plus.
- Working experience of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation Templates etc.
- Strong hands-on Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (GCP) and cluster management tools like Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Configuration management
- Proven experience with continuous integration and related tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Ant, Git, Sonar, etc.
