Key Responsibilities
- Utilize your knowledge of cloud-based big data storage and processing tools such as S3, AWS Glue, and Apache Spark.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL data structures to accommodate various project requirements.
- Collaborate effectively within an agile development team to enhance software development processes.
- Engage in data modeling at both conceptual and logical levels, implementing physical data models (e.g., Star schema, Snowflake schema).
- Effectively manage data storage using Amazon Redshift, Amazon Glue, and other AWS tools.
- Apply your expertise in AWS services and architecture best practices to optimize solutions.
- Develop and maintain applications based on AWS, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Assess project requirements, evaluate alternative designs, and recommend effective solutions in an AWS environment.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Oracle and PL/SQL.
- Contribute to data integration projects utilizing Informatica and AWS Integration.
- Engage in daily communications with onsite teams to ensure timely and quality deliverables in an onsite-offshore model.
- Promote clear communication and facilitate discussions among stakeholders while managing expectations.
- Familiarize yourself with Agile methodologies or iterative development processes to boost team effectiveness.
Required Skills
- Expertise in AWS services including S3, AWS Glue, and Redshift.
- Proficiency in manipulating SQL and NoSQL data structures.
- Experience in data modeling techniques (Star schema, Snowflake schema).
- Familiarity with Oracle and PL/SQL.
- Competence in ETL processes utilizing Informatica.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies or iterative development processes.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Cloud Development and Migration, specifically with AWS Analytics, Data Warehousing, and Redshift.
- At least 1 year of experience with Oracle/PL SQL.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in ETL processes using Informatica.
