Key Responsibilities
- Utilize AWS tools and services such as S3, AWS Glue, and Apache Spark to construct and manage big data storage, processing, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data ingestion solutions.
- Employ SQL and NoSQL databases to manipulate data and fulfill intricate business requirements.
- Actively participate in the software development lifecycle within an agile team framework.
- Design and implement data models at both conceptual and physical levels, employing schemas such as Star and Snowflake.
- Work with Amazon Redshift and other AWS data storage solutions to ensure efficient data content management.
- Analyze requirements, design solutions, and create applications in the AWS environment tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate discussions, manage expectations, and deliver high-quality results on schedule.
- Leverage expertise in Oracle, PL/SQL, and Informatica to integrate data and improve application functionality.
- Contribute to a dynamic team atmosphere, focusing on continuous improvement and overall project success.
Required Skills
- Profound understanding of AWS core services and architectural best practices.
- Practical experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based applications on AWS.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and NoSQL database management.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills for managing stakeholder expectations effectively.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud development, migration, and analytics, specifically with AWS (including Redshift).
- At least 1 year of experience with Oracle/PL SQL.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in data integration and ETL processes using Informatica.
