As a Managerin Infrastructure Engineering & Cloud Operations, you’ll lead a team of software engineers focused on site reliability responsible for public cloud-based infrastructure as we migrate from co-located environments. You’ll focus on quality and process, and advance our automation and engineering capabilities, to deliver the highly scalable, reliable, secure and performant applications that will delight our customers. You’ll relentlessly pursue opportunities to advance our operational effectiveness and increase customer satisfaction.

What you’ll do
- Cultivate a diverse, high-performing team that develops, recognizes and retains the best people and challenges them to advance their technical and engineering skills to meet the demands of rapidly evolving technologies and to transition from co-location to cloud-based applications
- Direct daily 24/7 operations of the team; enforcing priorities, monitoring and analyzing operational effectiveness metrics and ensuring problems are identified and solved quickly and efficiently.
- Utilize advanced knowledge of system design and application architecture to expedite the investigation and resolution of incidents and problems
- Leverage expert-level coding and development experience in JAVA, .NET, Node.js, Python, etc. to define and drive application standards and best practices across the DevOps landscape
- Lead teams in technical design, planning, and in predictably and efficiently delivering on our commitments within assigned responsibilities (application delivery) on time, on budget and with high quality
- Oversee the implementation of automation projects to ensure consistency with design decisions, standards, and best practices, utilizing experience building a cloud operating model and container strategy with cloud services including IaaS, PaaS, Saas, Docker & Kubernetes, etc.
- Effectively collaborate in vendor engagements to expand our workforce capacity as needed
- Foster a culture that leverages metrics by establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to promulgate success factors for the entire software portfolio
- Develop stakeholder relationships, working with teams across the business to ensure upstream and downstream processes exist to support meeting SLAs and OLAs
- Partner with Product Management and Application Engineering to align on Operational needs and product roadmap
What you’ll bring
- Hands-on DevOps experience building out the infrastructure for and installing the tooling for an enterprise software development lifecycle as well as writing/constructing all necessary scripts, build/deploy jobs & workflows
- Experience with Unit Testing, Code Coverage, Static Code Analysis, and Technical Debt Management
- Minimum of 5+ years relevant experience in an IT engineering, support or administration role supporting Windows, .NET, Open Source, and/or common web applications
- Minimum of 5+ years managerial experience
- Experience working with large and geographically distributed teams preferred
- Practical experience with ITIL required; lean and agile methodologies preferred
- Available on a 24x7x365 basis when needed for production impacting incidents or key customer events
