Short term, we're creating AI agents for Salesforce implementers to accelerate their delivery. Long term? We're building a platform for AI agent developers to experiment and deliver customized AI workflows across the IT services ecosystem.

Here’s the brief
We need a Lead DevOps Engineer who can build and maintain infrastructure for AI systems at scale. Think less "keeping the lights on" and more "Building the plan while flying". You'll be designing our cloud infrastructure, setting up CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring our AI agents are reliable, secure, and performant in production environments.
What you'll actually be doing —
- Architecting, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure for Vayu, our AI platform — with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
- Building robust CI/CD pipelines that can handle rapid iterations in a pre-PMF environment (translation: things change fast around here)
- Setting up monitoring and observability for AI systems to preemptively detect and resolve issues before they impact services via tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack to ensure uptime and performance
- Implementing security best practices for AI model deployment and fine-grained access control
- Supporting our AI/MLOps needs as we experiment with and deploy various LLM-based solutions
What you need to bring
- 7-8 years of hands-on DevOps experience managing production systems, ideally with exposure to AI/ML systems
- Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure preferably have designed and managed infrastructure on (AWS, or Azure)
- Experience with containerization (Kubernetes, Docker) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, AWS CDK, Azure Bicep), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CircleCI)
- Strong scripting abilities (Python, Typescript, Bash) — because if you're doing it more than twice, it should be automated
- Strong experience in cloud and SaaS infrastructure, preferably on AWS or Azure
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, NewRelic)
- Most importantly: the ability to make smart trade-offs between speed and stability (and explain them to both engineers and business folks)
This role is for you if
- You thrive in 0-1 environments where resources are limited and problems are undefined
- Experience with SRE and rigour to work within tight SLOs in customer-centric innovation environment
- You can quickly get to proof-of-value and iterate rapidly
- You deliver high release rates with low defect rates
- You're interested in AI/ML infrastructure and want to shape how enterprises deploy AI
- You are an avid reader (because learning and keeping up-to-date is key)
This role is NOT for you if
- You need well-defined processes and structures to function (we are building those as we go)
- You're uncomfortable with rapid changes in direction
- You prefer maintaining existing systems over building new ones
- You want to manage people (this is a senior IC role, we need your hands on the keyboard)
- You can't operate in a pre-PMF environment where the focus is on proof-of-value and velocity
