As our new Cloud Engineer - AWS, you will join our Services Team, where you will work with our customers to identify core issues, perform troubleshooting steps, identify resolution ideas, and implement final problem resolution steps. In this role you will be responsible for customer communication and experience, ensuring they receive excellence in customer service.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Design and Implementation of network setup for customer and AWS
- Backup and Disaster recovery on AWS
- Migration from on-premises to AWS
- Selecting appropriate Cloud services to design and deploy an infrastructure based on given requirements
- Documenting a project plan, defining and preparing scope documents
Your Competencies:
- 3+ years’ experience working with AWS (AWS migration projects)
- Good understanding of VMware, Hyper-V virtualization, designing and deploying dynamically scalable, available, fault-tolerant, and reliable applications/infrastructure on the Cloud
- Working knowledge of virtualization concept, virtual machines, their setup, provisioning, auto-scaling, etc.
- Ability to estimate usage costs and identify operational cost control mechanisms
- OS level troubleshooting experience
