Job Title: DevOps Engineer – Telecom Industry
Job Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team and revolutionize the way we build and deploy software in the telecom industry. In this role, you will use your expertise in Kubernetes, CI/CD, Hadoop, and open-source tools to streamline our development processes, ensure reliable deployments, and address the unique challenges within the telecom landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines that seamlessly integrate with Kubernetes deployments.
- Orchestrate and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes, optimizing performance and scalability for telecom-specific workloads.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to define and implement best practices for CI/CD, containerization, and telecom-specific deployments.
- Leverage your knowledge of Hadoop to support big data processing and analytics needs specific to the telecom domain (e.g., network traffic analysis, customer behavior).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the CI/CD pipeline, Kubernetes clusters, and production environment.
- Champion the adoption and integration of open-source tools within the DevOps ecosystem, with a focus on telecom technologies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps, specifically those impacting the telecom industry, to continually optimize processes.
- Contribute to open-source communities and projects related to telecom technologies (optional).
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines with Kubernetes integration.
- Deep understanding of containerization technologies, with a focus on Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD principles and methodologies.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Solid experience with Linux operating systems and scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.).
- Familiarity with distributed file systems like HDFS and Hadoop ecosystem tools (e.g., YARN, MapReduce) is a plus.
- Understanding of telecom technologies, protocols, and infrastructure is a plus.
- Experience contributing to open-source projects, particularly those related to telecom, is a plus.
