Role: DevOps Engineer
Location: Fairfax, VA (hybrid or remote)
Compensation: Up to $150K per year - depends on experience plus benefits
Direct Hire: Permanent Full Time
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows administration, with a strong understanding of IIS management and configurations.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, S3, and CloudFormation.
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash and PowerShell, as well as familiarity with XML.
- Understanding of web technologies, including REST APIs, Single Page Applications (SPA), and HTTP methods (GET, POST).
- Familiarity with development tools and methodologies, including working with XML configuration files, making REST API calls, and handling HTTP headers and response codes.
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Atlassian Bamboo, Octopus Deploy, MSBuild, NUnit, GIT, Maven, and Docker.
- A passion for technology with a strong focus on automation and efficiency.
