Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:
As a DevOps Engineer with cloud experience at EXL Services, you will be a vital part of the development team, working closely with production, operation units, and various business areas. Your role will enhance the team's capabilities in deployment, configuration, and development, extensively utilizing Continuous Integration tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Software Development Lifecycle:
- Engage in the full Software Development Lifecycle, from analyzing requirements to developing infrastructure features, deploying, testing software, and continuous improvement.
- Configuration and Change Management:
- Focus on configuration and change management, health monitoring, and system utilization, including performance analysis and reporting.
- Disaster Recovery:
- Configure and manage Disaster Recovery (DR) replication to ensure rapid system recovery during outages.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with team members, third parties, and vendors to achieve sprint objectives.
- Actively participate in and contribute to sprint activities and ceremonies.
Mandatory Skills:
- Programming and Scripting:
- Expertise in Python and Shell Scripting.
- Proficiency in Terraform (Infrastructure as Code) and YAML files.
- Midrange Technology:
- Deep knowledge of technologies such as Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, and Oracle (Weblogic & Database).
- Cloud Environment:
- Experience with cloud environments AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Deployment and Management:
- Experience deploying applications in midrange (Linux) and cloud environments.
- CI/CD and Containerization:
- Proficiency with Git, GitOps, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Additional Skills:
- Strong communication skills and experience working with distributed teams.
- Ability to work independently, maintain quality consciousness, and stay current with trends in DevOps and Cloud technologies.
- Experience in a fast-paced, Agile work environment.
- Pro-active team player with good communication and English language skills.
