Job Description:
As the Manager of Cybersecurity Applications and Cloud, you will lead a team responsible for securing our cloud environments, endpoints, and applications. This is a hands-on role where you will actively engage in implementing and managing security measures, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will also be responsible for designing and overseeing the security architecture. You will collaborate closely with DevOps, Cloud Operations, and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals.
- Actively engage in securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure), endpoints, and applications.
- Design, implement, and manage security solutions across AWS, Azure, and M365/O365.
- Utilize AWS security capabilities such as WAF and IAM to protect our cloud infrastructure.
- Implement AWS security features.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts.
- Implement and manage Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) solutions
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM templates to automate and manage cloud infrastructure.
- Apply AI coding techniques to enhance security measures, including anomaly detection, threat prediction, and automated response systems.
- Utilize Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools such as SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, or Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
- Design and oversee the security architecture to ensure robust protection across all platforms.
Must Have Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud security engineering.
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS security capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Defender and O365/Exchange security.
- Experience with Web Application Firewall (WAF).
- Proven team leading and mentoring skills.
- Relevant certification – any ISACA or ISC2 certifications, CISSP or CISM.
- Experience in Application Penetration Testing.
Good to Have Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Burp Suite.
- Experience with Azure and GCP security capabilities.
- Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks and best practices.
- Experience with CSPM tools and methodologies.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation and ARM templates.
- Experience with AI coding and applying machine learning techniques to security.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Additional certifications such as CCSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, or Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
NOTE: This role will be based out of The Leela Office located on the 4th Floor, Airport Road, Kodihalli, Bangalore- 560008. Our expectation at this time, is that you would work from our office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays with flexibility to work from home on Mondays and Fridays.
