As a Senior Architect, you will lead the design and delivery of cutting-edge Data Engineering solutions for global clients. These roles are client-facing and demand a mix of technical expertise, innovative problem-solving, and leadership in building and managing Azure platforms and components.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver complex solutions addressing architecture, configuration, security, performance, scalability, reliability, and infrastructure challenges.
- Design and implement Azure architecture using data services such as Azure Synapse, Data Factory (ADF), Data Lake, Lakehouse, Azure Databricks, ADLS GEN2, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Integration Runtime, Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines, along with infrastructure setup.
- Architect and deploy end-to-end data solutions on the Azure platform, ensuring proper infrastructure design, cost optimization, monitoring, error logging, and alerting mechanisms.
- Lead or provide oversight to data engineering, BI teams, and other IT and business teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 12+ years in data analytics & engineering, with at least 6+ years of hands-on experience in Azure Cloud architecture and implementation.
Technical Expertise
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Python and PySpark.
- Strong command of Microsoft T-SQL and PySpark for data processing and transformation.
- Expertise in Azure components like Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, ADLS GEN2, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Familiarity with Azure Infrastructure, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Power BI for advanced analytics.
- Data Architecture & Design: Proven experience in designing scalable, reliable, and cost-effective data solutions, with strong attention to monitoring, error logging, and alerting.
- Leadership Skills: Experience managing or providing guidance to data engineering, BI, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Additional Qualities:
- Aptitude for helping clients understand application architectures and integration strategies.
- Ability to design and implement advanced cloud-based solutions and oversee their build-out.
- Passion for working at the intersection of Azure, Data & Analytics, and GenAI.
