What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a Senior Cloud Systems Engineer to join the Engineering team. As a member of the team you will play a critical role in designing, securing, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure to support strategic business objectives. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you will collaborate cross-functionally to develop scalable, high-performance cloud solutions while implementing advanced security measures to protect critical systems and data.

As you deepen your understanding of our cloud architecture and business needs, your responsibilities will expand, allowing you to shape best practices, mentor team members, and contribute to the long-term success of our cloud strategy.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of scalable and secure cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
- Architect and implement advanced security measures to protect cloud environments, including identity and access management (IAM), network security, encryption, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and refine automation scripts, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions to streamline cloud operations, enhance scalability, and improve efficiency.
- Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and resilience of cloud environments.
- Collaborate with software development, DevOps, and security teams to embed best practices in cloud architecture, automation, and security throughout the development lifecycle.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Stay ahead of emerging cloud technologies, industry trends, and evolving security threats, proactively addressing risks and enhancing cloud security posture.
- Utilize and improve workflows with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and other cloud-native tools to support version control, CI/CD, and infrastructure management.
You are
- A strategic problem solver with a deep understanding of cloud architecture, security frameworks, and automation best practices.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- A proactive leader who takes ownership of complex technical challenges and drives impactful solutions.
- Able to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
You have
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, with a strong emphasis on security, automation, and performance optimization.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, with experience in designing and managing secure, scalable cloud architectures.
- Advanced knowledge of security principles, including IAM, network security, encryption, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or .NET, with experience developing automation scripts, cloud APIs, and infrastructure automation.
- Expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) for cloud-native deployments.
- Experience leading cloud migration, automation, and security initiatives, with a proven track record of driving innovation and efficiency improvements.
