Skill Must Have:
Extensive AWS experience (incl. Cloudscape and AWS CDK, S3, Cloudwatch, Bedrock, AmazonQ, Lambda, CloudTrail, APIGateway, IAM)
Extensive experience in Java Backend development with a strong focus on security and Identity.
Proficiency in TypeScript and Java.
Familiarity with Generative AI and Machine Learning including Retrieval Augmented Generation (don’t need experience; just awareness)
Improve, maintain, and create new features for the global Solitaire hosting platform for the Amazon Store.
Monitor the service for dips in availability, latency, and other performance metrics through alarms defined in CDK.
• Model complex infrastructure-as-code using AWS CDK’s Typescript client and distribute changes through CI/CD pipelines.
• Use many AWS services such as EC2, ECR, CloudWatch, Lambda, Step Functions, S3, DynamoDB, etc. Manage, monitor, and optimize Kubernetes clusters.
• Provide real-time diagnostics and incident response actions in response to systems dips in availability, increases in latency, and other key events detected through alarms modeled in CDK.
