Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Automation Engineer with strong expertise in
PowerShell scripting, along with proficiency in
Python and
SQL. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with
Ansible,
CI/CD tools, and various enterprise technologies including
ServiceNow,
Docker, and
Microsoft 365. This role involves developing automation solutions, integrating systems, and streamlining IT operations using modern DevOps practices.
Mandatory Skills
Programming Languages:
- PowerShell – Strong scripting experience (must-have)
- Python – Automation and data parsing
- SQL – Querying and database interaction
Tools & Technologies - Ansible / Ansible AWX – Configuration management and automation
- ServiceNow – Integration and workflow automation
- REST API – Consuming and building RESTful services
- Docker – Containerization
- CI/CD Pipelines – Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins or similar tools
- Version Control – Git, Bitbucket

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and workflows using PowerShell and Python.
- Build and manage Ansible playbooks and AWX templates for infrastructure automation.
- Create and manage CI/CD pipelines integrating with Bitbucket/Git and other tools.
- Implement integration solutions with ServiceNow and REST APIs.
- Administer and automate tasks related to Active Directory, Exchange Online, and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient automation solutions.
- Troubleshoot and optimize performance of automated workflows and infrastructure components.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with security best practices in scripting and automation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
