Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated DevOps Intern who is eager to learn and support our engineering team in building, maintaining, and improving our infrastructure and deployment processes. This internship provides hands-on experience with modern DevOps tools, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and automation practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
- Support the DevOps team in managing cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Help monitor system performance, uptime, and application reliability.
- Participate in automation of build, deployment, and monitoring processes.
- Assist in managing Docker containers and Kubernetes environments.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and environment issues.
- Maintain documentation for DevOps processes and infrastructure.
- Work closely with developers to streamline release cycles and deployment workflows.
Required Skills:
- Basic understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices.
- Basic scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (basic level).
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
- Exposure to Docker or containerization.
- Basic knowledge of Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Qualifications:
- Candidates who have completed a bachelor’s degree or above in computer science, IT, or a related field.
- Strong interest in DevOps, cloud computing, and automation.
