We are in search of a Cloud Engineer who will be vital in orchestrating cloud solutions that drive productivity and efficiency across our projects. This role requires a strong background in cloud technologies, enabling effective collaboration with our technical teams to build scalable and secure cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role, focusing on leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficient in scripting and automation tools, including but not limited to Python, Terraform, or Ansible
- Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks and compliance standards relevant to government contracts
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize cloud infrastructure and services for improved performance and cost-effectiveness
- Excellent collaborative skills to work alongside cross-functional teams and deliver high-quality cloud solutions
- Must possess a growth mindset, a strong analytical approach, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- A Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) is required
- DoD 8570.01M IAT Level II Certification with Continuing Education (CE) (GSEC, CompTIA Security+ CE, SCNP, SSCP) is required

- A current DoD Top Secret clearance is required
- The candidate must meet eligibility requirements for classified information access

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current annual salary range for this position will be $165,000 to $180,000.
