Description : the Role :
We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in Amazon ECS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Linux systems, monitoring integrations, and AWS cost optimization strategies.
This role requires deep understanding of cloud-native architecture, CI/CD automation, container orchestration, infrastructure-as-code, and production-grade Responsibilities :
- Design, deploy, and manage containerized workloads using Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS).
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS or self-managed).
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform (modules, remote state, reusable
components).
- Configure and manage monitoring and observability using Datadog.
- Integrate and maintain code quality pipelines using SonarQube.
- Implement AWS cost optimization strategies including rightsizing, Reserved Instances, -Savings Plans, tagging strategies, and budget monitoring.
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based production environments.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development teams for performance tuning and release management.
Required Technical Skills
Cloud & AWS :
- Strong understanding of core AWS concepts : EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, ALB/NLB, Auto Scaling, CloudWatch
- Hands-on experience with ECS (Fargate & EC2 launch types).
- Experience working with Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) preferred.
- Proven experience in AWS cost monitoring and & Orchestration :
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (deployments, services, ingress, config maps,
secrets).
- Experience managing clusters, scaling workloads, and troubleshooting pod/network issues.
- Understanding of container networking and service mesh concepts.
- Good knowledge of as Code :
- Strong expertise in Terraform (state management, modules, remote backends).
- Experience in writing reusable and scalable Terraform modules.
Linux & Scripting
- Strong knowledge of Linux system administration (Ubuntu/CentOS/Amazon Linux).
- Shell scripting (Bash) and troubleshooting skills.
- Log monitoring and performance & Code Quality :
- Experience integrating Datadog for metrics, logs, and APM.
- Experience configuring SonarQube in CI/CD & DevOps Practices :
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of Git-based workflows.
- Knowledge of DevOps and Agile best practices.
