Job Description
A GCP DevOps Engineer designs Builds and maintains scalable secure infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform using Infrastructure as Code Terraform and CICD automation responsibilities include optimizing GCP resources, managing Kubernetes GKE,monitoring system performance Cloud. Logging, Monitoring and implementing security best practices IAM to ensure high availability
Core Responsibilities
- Infrastructure as Code IaC Provision and manage GCP infrastructure Compute Engine VPC Cloud Storage SQL using Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager
- CICD Pipelines Develop maintain and optimize CICD pipelines Jenkins GitLab CI Cloud Build for automated testing and deployment
- Container Orchestration Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Google Kubernetes Engine GKE
- Monitoring Observability Implement logging monitoring and ing using Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging formerly Stackdriver
- Security Compliance Manage IAM roles service accounts and network security to ensure a secure compliant environment
- Optimization Monitor costs and system performance implementing improvements for scalability and reliability
Required Skills Qualifications
- GCP Proficiency Strong experience with core GCP services GKE Compute Engine Cloud Run
- Automation Tools Extensive knowledge of Terraform Ansible or Puppet
- CICD Tools Experience with Cloud Build Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- ScriptingProgramming Proficiency in Python Bash or Go
- Networking Understanding of GCP VPC Load Balancing and Cloud Armor
- Experience Typically 36 years in DevOps SRE or Cloud Engineering roles
- Certification Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer certification is highly desirable
