We are looking for DevOps Engineer.
Before our software developers write even a single line of code, they have to understand what drives our customers. What is the environment? What is the user story based on? Implementation means – trying, testing, and improving outcomes until a final solution emerges. Knowledge means exchange – discussions with colleagues from all over the world.
YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE BY:
- Creating, documenting, and maintaining DevOps best practices to be followed by product teams relative to continuous delivery, automation and zero downtime deployments.
- Creating, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab, SVN, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, NuGet, and Ansible.
- Collaborating with infrastructure teams on automation of infrastructure provisioning and product teams to develop, maintain, and create new processes, procedures, and concepts.
- Maintaining tools and technologies utilized in DevOps processes.
- Troubleshooting DevOps systems and solve problems across platforms and application domains.
- Suggesting architectural, procedural, and systematic improvements based on empirical evidence.
- Keeping abreast of Quest Diagnostics initiatives and their technical impact to the organization.
JOB REQUIREMENTS/ SKILLS:
- 2-5 years of professional experience in software development and DevOps
- Experience in implementing and operating AWS solutions and services with high availability, scalability, and performance
- Experience with building, deploying, and configuring JAVA, J2EE and Angular applications hosted on web servers
- Experience with CI/CD tools that build, package, and deploy applications (e.g., TeamCity, GitLab, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, NuGet, Sonar)
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools preferred (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell DSC).
- Experience in architecting serverless applications with AWS Lambda with Python
- Experience administering Windows Servers in production environments.
- Familiarity with database deployment tools.
- Good working knowledge of PowerShell, Windows CLI, and utilizing REST APIs.
- Understanding of Webserver, Load Balancer and deployment process / activities
- Advanced level knowledge of software development life cycle.
- Excellent command over English in written, spoken communication and strong presentation skills.
- Experience in Jira, Confluence will be an added advantage.
- Takes strong initiatives and highly result oriented
- Good at communicating within the team as well as with all the stake holders
- Strong customer focus and good learner.
