About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer to design and build scalable, AI-powered systems for the construction tech ecosystem. You will play a key role in architecting backend systems, integrating LLM-driven workflows, and leading critical engineering decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend systems and APIs
- Architect and implement LLM-driven solutions (AI agents, automation workflows, copilots)
- Build and maintain robust ETL/data pipelines for large-scale data processing
- Lead system design discussions and ensure high performance, reliability, and security
- Work with AWS services (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, etc.) to build serverless architectures
- Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and drive engineering best practices
- Optimize systems for latency, cost, and scalability
Required Skills & Experience
- 7–8 years of experience in backend/system engineering
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Hands-on experience with LLM integrations
- Experience building scalable distributed systems
- Deep understanding of ETL pipelines and data engineering workflows
- Strong experience with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, etc.)
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Solid understanding of databases (SQL & NoSQL)
Good to Have
- Experience building AI agents or copilots
- Exposure to event-driven architecture
- Experience in construction tech / SaaS platforms
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
