Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and modern DevOps practices, with hands-on experience in deploying microservices and serverless applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for both backend and frontend applications
- Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost
- Deploy and manage microservices and serverless applications in AWS
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
- Build and maintain DevOps playbooks, automation scripts, and operational runbooks
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline release cycles and improve deployment processes
- Ensure security best practices and compliance in cloud environments
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker
- Experience with orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
- Good understanding of microservices architecture and serverless frameworks
Desired Skills
- Experience in monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Certifications (Preferred)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
- HashiCorp Terraform Certification
