Role- Devops Engineer/Kafka Specialist

Role:
Looking for a dynamic Platform Lead with expertise in Kafka and DevOps Engineering, and experience in a bank or any financial institution and significant experience engaging with Onshore stakeholders and leading an Offshore based Crew.
Future duties and responsibilities
- Engaging with Client Stakeholders on a daily basis to understand and assess the work packages
- Lead a team of professionals in India to get the work done
- Be a single-point-of-contact for the Kafka Admin work deliverables
- Be able to lead the Platform Operations Team from Onshore.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role

- Dedicated KAFKA Administration and Operations (should know Apache KAFKA architecture in-depth, KSQL, Confluent Cloud, Installation, configuration and management of KAFKA brokers, KAFKA Connect)
- Infrastructure as Code Automation (Terraform and Ansible)
- CI/CD pipeline development
- Performance Tuning and Optimization (on KAFKA clusters including partitions, replication factors and consumer lag)
- Monitoring and Observability (Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace, Logscale)
- Security and Compliance (Data encryption and authorization, ACLs)
- Collaboration (Define KAFKA topic structures, schemas and best practices for producers and consumers)
- Containerization (Docker and Kubernetes for Openshift)
- Proficient in Python for Automation
- Site Reliability Engineering experience (good to have)
