Job Description
- 1-5 + years of experience with Policy as a Code (Sentinel), Infrastructure automation tools (Terraform) and with a focus on implementing security controls for all type of infrastructure
- 1-5 + years of experience with public clouds (AWS/GCP) foundational offerings IAM, VPC, Cloud Logging, Security controls, Storage and Compute
- In-depth understanding of Public Cloud native services such as Serverless, BigData and Data analytics native offering such as: Dataproc, Composer, Dataflow, BQ and other technology and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, and determining the root cause for customer-reported issues, building tools, and faster diagnosis.
- Software development experience in one of the OO programming languages: Java, Go and or Python Understanding of good cloud architecture to ensure high availability while ensuring the highest level of security and visibility.
- Strong background of Container & Orchestration Technologies such as GKE, EKS, and open-source Kubernetes Experience with Logging and Monitoring tools such as Cloud logging, metrics, XQL and other mechanism.
- FinOps (cloud) domain knowledge preferred ability to effectively interpret technical and business objectives and challenges and articulate solutions
- Confirmed support of production systems at scale.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and exploit them to their optimal potential
- Act as consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in engineering, sales, customer organizations to resolve technical deployment obstacles and improve Google Cloud.
