About The Role
Job Title: Software Engineer - DevOpsJob Description:We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure solutions. You will work closely with development and operations teams to streamline deployment processes, automate infrastructure, and ensure system stability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using VMware.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitLab CI.
- Containerize applications and manage container orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and OpenShift.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform and Ansible.
- Monitor system performance and health with Grafana and Prometheus.
- Manage version control processes using GitLab.
- Write and maintain scripts for automation and operational tasks using Bash and Python.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and system reliability.
- Ensure security, compliance, and best practices across all environments.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience with VMware Cloud infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, especially GitLab CI.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and OpenShift.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
- Proficiency in version control systems, particularly GitLab.
- Scripting skills in Bash and Python for automation tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications related to VMware, Kubernetes, or cloud infrastructure.
