About the Role
We're looking for a Cloud Engineer to support the design, implementation, and enablement of a large-scale Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment. You'll work with cross-functional teams to build secure, scalable cloud solutions and help application teams successfully onboard to the platform.
Depending on your background, you may contribute across one or more of the following areas:
- Platform Engineering & Infrastructure Automation
- Cloud Security & Compliance
- Cloud Networking
- Platform Enablement & Service Delivery
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support cloud infrastructure on GCP.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Build automation using Python and CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement security best practices, governance, and compliance guardrails.
- Configure and support networking components, including VPCs, firewalls, DNS, and hybrid connectivity.
- Collaborate with application teams to facilitate platform onboarding and adoption.
- Create documentation, playbooks, and technical standards.
- Troubleshoot platform issues and drive continuous improvements.
- Partner with engineering, security, networking, and operations teams to deliver reliable cloud services.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with Python or another scripting language.
- Knowledge in one or more of the following:
- Cloud Security & Compliance
- GCP Networking
- Platform Engineering & Automation
- Platform Enablement or Technical Service Delivery
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
Compensation: The anticipated base pay range for this position is $90,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year depending on experience, skills, location, and internal equity.
