About the Role
We are seeking a skilled AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS services, infrastructure automation, containerization, and DevOps best practices to support high-availability, secure, and reliable applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/ECS).
- Configure and manage AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, Route 53, and ELB.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud resources.
- Implement security best practices, IAM policies, encryption, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to streamline software delivery.
- Maintain system documentation and support production deployments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash or Python.
- Experience with Linux administration.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, DNS, VPN, load balancing, and security groups.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
- Familiarity with Git and version control best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification.
- Experience with serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, API Gateway).
- Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
