Job Description
As an experienced Software Development Engineer at Endian AI, you will play a crucial role in working directly with customers to define, shape, and realize product vision in the cutting-edge Agentic AI ecosystem, with a strong focus on transformative solutions in the Healthcare space. You will design, develop, and deploy intelligent software systems that combine robust engineering with advanced AI capabilities for real-world enterprise impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer & Product Vision: Collaborate directly with customers and stakeholders to understand business needs, identify high-impact opportunities, and translate product vision into practical, scalable software and AI solutions.
- Design and Develop Software Solutions: Work closely with customers to define requirements, shape solution architecture, and design, implement, and develop reliable, scalable, and efficient enterprise applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Full-Stack Development: Work across entire stack of the application include backend, frontend and the AI stack of applications.
- Leverage AI-Powered Tools: Utilize the company’s proprietary AI tools to enhance coding efficiency, automate repetitive tasks, optimize code quality, and streamline the SDLC processes.
- System Integration: Integrate AI and Agentic AI capabilities into production healthcare and enterprise systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and real-world usability.
- Research & Innovation: Stay current with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI, applying new techniques and methodologies to our projects.
- Agentic AI in Healthcare: Build and integrate Agentic AI workflows, tools, and systems for healthcare use cases, helping customers unlock automation, intelligence, and operational efficiency while maintaining reliability, security, and usability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, software developers, and domain experts, to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, or a related field from a prestigious engineering college in India.
- Industry Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience, including hands-on work with enterprise applications or complex systems.
- Customer-Facing Engineering: Experience working directly with customers, product stakeholders, or business teams to clarify requirements, define product direction, and deliver production-grade software solutions.
- Healthcare Interest: Experience in or enthusiasm for building technology solutions in the Healthcare space, especially where AI can improve workflows, decision support, automation, or operational efficiency.
- Programming Skills: Advanced programming skills in any modern programming language such as Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Computer Science Fundamentals: Have strong fundamentals that enables you to pick up new languages/frameworks quickly.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems with innovative and effective solutions.
- Passion for Learning: Continuous learner, staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in the field of AI and machine learning.
- Open-Source Engagement: Experience with or a keen interest in contributing to open-source projects.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- AI Knowledge: Experience with LLMs, ML models, AI agents, RAG systems, tool-using AI workflows, or Agentic AI systems is a must.
