Cloud Architect – AWS SME & DevOps (Kubernetes/EKS)
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Architect with deep expertise in AWS Cloud, Kubernetes (Amazon EKS), DevOps, and Identity & Access Management (IAM). The ideal candidate will design, automate, secure, and optimize cloud infrastructure while driving cloud‑native adoption, platform reliability, and operational excellence across enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure AWS infrastructure using Terraform
- Hands‑on with AWS VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, networking, and security
- Build and optimize Kubernetes platforms (Amazon EKS) including cluster lifecycle, networking, and observability
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with DevOps tools and best practices
- Implement and enforce IAM policies, RBAC, least‑privilege access, and governance standards
- Troubleshoot complex cloud networking, Kubernetes, and application issues
- Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams on cloud‑native modernization initiatives
- Monitor environments, optimize resources, and drive FinOps cost efficiency
- Support disaster recovery, backup, and high availability strategies
- Establish operational standards, documentation, and automation frameworks
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership for cloud transformation
Required Skills
- Deep expertise in AWS Cloud Services (VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM)
- Strong hands‑on experience with Kubernetes (Amazon EKS)
- Proficiency in Terraform & Infrastructure as Code
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation tools
- Solid understanding of cloud security best practices
- Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and FinOps
- Strong troubleshooting skills in cloud networking and Kubernetes
