The Principal Cloud Engineer is a full-time, permanent role based in Philadelphia, PA, with a hybrid schedule requiring onsite work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. This senior-level position is focused on Azure platform architecture, cloud engineering leadership, and enterprise cloud adoption.
This role sits on a small, high-visibility cloud team responsible for shaping Azure standards, landing zones, and hybrid infrastructure strategy. The environment includes Azure, Terraform, Terragrunt, GitHub, containers, SQL, AVS, AVD, and cloud transformation initiatives. Required Skills & Experience
- Deep hands-on Azure experience, ideally building environments from the ground up
- Azure landing zone design and implementation
- Terraform and Terragrunt infrastructure-as-code experience
- GitHub, DevOps practices, and CI/CD knowledge
- Containers in Azure, strong SQL/database expertise, and experience across on-prem and cloud environments
