Summary:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. You will build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats. Your typical day will involve working on various aspects of DevOps, including infrastructure automation, deployment automation, and monitoring.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure.
- Utilize knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security.
- Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure systems are safe against security threats.
- Automate infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Monitor and optimize system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps.
- Implement and maintain configuration management tools.
- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure.
- Implement and manage container orchestration platforms.
- Ensure high availability and scalability of systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
- Document and maintain technical specifications and operating procedures.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Cloud Infrastructure, Ansible on Microsoft Azure.
- Strong understanding of continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD) principles.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Chef.
- Understanding of security best practices and implementation in a DevOps environment.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- 15 Years of full time education is required.
