Job Summary
As a Tech Lead specializing in backend technologies, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers, designing robust architectures, and ensuring the successful delivery of our projects. Your expertise in Node.js, PHP, and other backend technologies will be crucial in guiding our technical team and making key architectural decisions.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the backend development team in designing, developing, and deploying scalable and high-performance applications.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment and maintenance.
• Make architectural decisions and establish coding standards, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to deliver integrated solutions.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring that our applications are secure, reliable, and performant.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest backend technologies and methodologies, and advocate for their adoption within the team.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6-7 years of professional experience in backend development, with a strong focus on languages and frameworks such as Node.js and PHP
• Proven experience leading a development team, with a track record of successfully delivered projects.
• In-depth understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database design (both SQL and NoSQL).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and development tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies and their integration with backend systems.
