Job Description
The IT Development Head, also known as the Tower Head, is a senior leadership role within the IT Development Department. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in the IT industry, with a strong focus on Agile and Scrum methodologies, proficiency in multiple programming languages, and extensive knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. The IT Development Head will also have a deep understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cybersecurity principles.
Responsibilities of IT Development Head
- Lead and manage the IT Development team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Implement Agile and Scrum methodologies to streamline the software development process.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software applications across various platforms.
- Maintain proficiency in multiple programming languages and stay updated with the latest web development frameworks such as Angular, React, and Vue.js.
- Develop and manage the mobile application development process for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Ensure the implementation and maintenance of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Implement and manage DevOps and CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless software delivery.
- Uphold cybersecurity principles to protect the organization's IT infrastructure and data.
- Lead strategic planning and decision-making at the departmental level.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, problem-solving, and adaptability within the team.
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and senior management to ensure alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.

- Agile and Scrum: The candidate should have a deep understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices. They should be able to manage and prioritize backlog, facilitate daily scrums, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in multiple programming languages is required. The candidate should be able to write efficient, scalable, and reusable code.
- Cloud Technologies: The candidate should have experience with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. They should be able to design, implement, and manage cloud solutions.
- DevOps and CI/CD Pipelines: The candidate should have a strong understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines. They should be able to automate software development and deployment processes.
- Cybersecurity Principles: The candidate should understand cybersecurity principles and be able to implement security measures to protect sensitive information.
