Reporting to: Promoter /Director
Role & Responsibilities:
- Technology Strategy: Define and lead the overall technology strategy in alignment with the company’s mission and business goals.
- Product Development: Oversee the development, deployment, and iteration of our health tech platform, ensuring it meets the needs of both healthcare providers and patients.
- Innovation and R&D: Lead innovation efforts to incorporate emerging technologies (AI, machine learning, NLP, etc.) into our health tech solutions.
- Proactive Decision making and ensuring timeliness of delivery: Setting up seamless SDLC; Establish and Enforce IT Policies, Procedures, and Standards to ensure effective and efficient operations
- Data and Security: Ensure the highest standards of data privacy, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.).
- Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Partnerships: Collaborate with external vendors, partners, and stakeholders to integrate third-party services and maintain cutting-edge technological capabilities.
- Technical Infrastructure: Experience in devising technical architecture of an enterprise grade SaaS product. Oversee the architecture and infrastructure of our platform to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance
- Documentation and Quality Control: Ensure all processes and work are documented and the code is of the highest quality
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Operations, and Customer Success teams to ensure technology delivers maximum value and supports business needs.
- Budget and Resource Management: Manage technology budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and balancing the need for innovation with cost-effectiveness.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all technology solutions are compliant with relevant healthcare regulations and standards (e.g., FDA, HIPAA, CE Mark).
- Thought Leadership: Act as a spokesperson for the company’s technology vision at industry events, conferences, and media engagements.
Candidate Requirement
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. MBA or advanced healthcare-related qualification is a plus.
- Experience: 12-15 years of experience in technology leadership roles, Some experience in a senior role within a health tech or related industry is preferred. Someone who has worked both in Startup and Established Company may fit into the culture.
- Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience in the following tech stack:
- o Frontend – Angular
- o Backend – Java Spring Boot
- o Database – MySQL
- o Cloud – GCP (primary), AWS
- with cloud infrastructure, AI, machine learning, data analytics, and modern development methodologies (Agile, DevOps, etc.).
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing technical team.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and communicate a long-term vision for the company’s technology and product roadmap.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to think critically, anticipate issues, and resolve complex technical and operational challenges.
- Healthcare Tech Knowledge (Preferred): Deep understanding of the healthcare industry, including health IT, electronic health records (EHR), telemedicine, DICOM/PACS and healthcare regulations.
