As a Cloud Platform Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing application architecture and deployment in cloud platform environments, including public cloud, private cloud, and hybrid cloud. Your typical day will involve designing cloud adoption plans, managing and monitoring cloud applications, and ensuring cloud application design meets business requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of cloud adoption plans, including public cloud, private cloud, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Oversee the design of cloud applications, ensuring they meet business requirements and align with industry best practices.
- Manage and monitor cloud applications, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and highly available.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud applications are integrated with other systems and meet business needs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud technology, integrating innovative approaches for sustained competitive advantage.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Expertise in Google Cloud Platform Architecture.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including virtualization, containers, and microservices.
- Experience with cloud security and compliance, including data protection and privacy regulations.
- Experience with cloud management and monitoring tools, such as CloudWatch or Stackdriver.
- Solid grasp of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in Google Cloud Platform Architecture.
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful cloud solutions.
