The Role: DevOps Engineer
At Anchanto, we know that the one of the keys to growth is a high-performing Engineering team. We are looking for a strong DevOps Engineer tasked to work on our new set of products along with the old ones.
Responsibilities:
- Build and operate CI/CD pipelines by selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tool
- Automate various processes using state-of-the-art tools to enable DevOps
- Deploy updates and fixes
- Develop scripts to automate visualization
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
- Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
- Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage
- Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
- Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
- Mentoring and guiding the team members
- Experience with CloudFormation along with Terraform would be an added advantage
- Logging and monitoring when Infra build is done by automation
- Experience working with ELK stack
- Experience with integrating and administering CI-CD tools – SonarQube or similar, Nexus or similar as package repo
- Experience with SAST and DAST tools in the CI-CD pipeline
What You Need/ You have a track record of:
- 5+ years of overall experience of which at least 3 years of experience with DevOps
- Good knowledge of Kernel, Networking, and OS fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud solutions especially with EKS.
- Knowledge of Distributed systems and micro services architectures.
- Proficient with git and git workflows
- Deploy and manage Containers orchestration, API gateways, CI/CD components.
- Knowledge about CI/CD practices, deployment patterns, and relevant tool sets like Jenkins.
- An understanding of writing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform, Chef etc.
- Used to observability practices and tool for Monitoring, Metrics, Logging, Alerts & Tracing
- Experience using DevOps tools in a cloud environment, such as Docker, GitHub, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Maven, and SonarQube
- Knowledge about service discovery, networking security, multi-tenancy, database access, concurrency control, or cache consistency.
- Built distributed solutions for configuration, monitoring, and auto-mitigation of services.
- Familiarity with one or more open-source tools such as Grafana, Elasticsearch, Kibana.
- A solid background in Linux/Unix server system administration
- Experience with Linux Shell Scripting or Python scripting
- Good understanding of automation
- General understanding of AWS security practices like KMS, Secrets Manager, encryption and IAM Roles
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL
- Technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code written by developers
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- The ability to be a team player
- The ability and skill to train other people in procedural and technical topics
