As a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of development team and will be responsible for the design and implementation of application build, release, deployment and configuration activities. We prefer Cloudformation or Terraform to automate our infra setup and stringently follow Infrastructure as Code process.
Responsibilities
- The candidate will be responsible for management of infrastructure setup and monitoring for the platform team.
- Create infrastructure using Terraform/Cloud-formation.
- Understand AWS best practices in setting up the infrastructure.
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, prototyping, architecting, brainstorming and collaboratively design infra setup and maintenance strategies.
Requirements
- Proficiency in two or more of the following development languages: Bash, Python.
- Awareness of working with cloud providers (preferable: AWS).
- Expertise domain experience on AWS services (ECS, Apigateway, lambda, SNS, SQS, EKS).
- A passion for code quality and an understanding of the entire DevOps tool chain from a quality perspective.
- Knowledge of automated package delivery tools such as Terraform.
