Robert Half is partnering with an established, high-growth investment management firm with offices across major global cities, they are currently in growth mode and looking to hire a DevOps engineer that will be focused on automating and streamlining processes within the Azure and Microsoft 365 environments. Reporting to the Director of IT Infrastructure, this role requires hands-on expertise with cloud automation tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop secure and efficient cloud solutions, with a strong focus on supporting the firm’s investment technology operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Bicep.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to streamline resource deployment.
- Automate and optimize cloud infrastructure processes, focusing on Azure, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365.
- Ensure alignment with security standards for cloud deployments and identity management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues, implementing long-term solutions.
- Enhance policy and standards documentation to reflect job duties and best practices.
- Communicate technical solutions and collaborate with IT team members to achieve project goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least three years of experience in an Azure/M365 DevOps role.
- Proficiency in Bicep and ARM templates; Terraform experience is a plus.
- Advanced PowerShell scripting skills, especially for Azure, M365, and GraphAPI.
- Proficient in Python for building automation tools.
- Experience in all components of Azure DevOps, including pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft cloud technologies, especially Azure and Entra ID.
- DevOps or Azure certifications are preferred
