Job Description: DevOps Engineer
Location: Frisco, TX or Seattle, WA (onsite)
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated
DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in server builds, networking, and modern DevOps tools and technologies. A strong background in containerization, orchestration, and storage systems is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage server infrastructure to support scalable and efficient systems.
- Implement and maintain networking solutions to ensure seamless connectivity and security.
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes environments for application deployment and scaling.
- Utilize Canonical tools and technologies to streamline system operations.
- Configure and manage container storage solutions to support application performance and data integrity.
- Work with Spectro for system monitoring, diagnostics, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and automate workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to DevOps processes and infrastructure.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Proven experience in server build and networking.
- Hands-on expertise with Canonical tools and platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Experience with container storage systems (e.g., Portworx, OpenEBS, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with Spectro monitoring tools is a plus.
- Proficient in scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, Python, or Ansible).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Certification in Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD) or related DevOps technologies.
- Familiarity with security best practices in DevOps workflows.
