Job Description:
Role & Responsibilities:
- Deep understanding of Azure architecture and its service capabilities, including Compute, Data, Networking, and Security.
- Experience in designing, building, and implementing cloud-based solutions using Azure.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell or Azure CLI for automation and configuration purposes1.
- Strong knowledge of governance, data platforms, disaster recovery, virtualization, identity management, and IT operations.
- Experience with monitoring and performance tuning in Azure environments3.
- Familiarity with security best practices and networking in Azure.
- Hands-On Experience using Biceps and Terraform
- Knowledge of DevOps practicesand automation tools
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Instances.
- Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines for API deployment
- Proficiency in designing and deploying serverless applications using Azure Functions and Logic Apps
- Proficient in using version control systems like Git
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Modern architecture techniques (e.g. event driven architectures, stream processing, event sourcing/CQRS, Event storming
- Strong understanding of the following: Cloud native architecture principles;
- In-depth experience architecting complex Azure public/private Cloud platform solutions (PaaS, SaaS, IaaS)
- Working knowledge of automation service provisioning and middleware configuration.
- Recommendation to automate the processes with proper tools.
- Deep understanding of Azure PaaS services like Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS),Container Registry and Azure SQL Databases.
- Implement governance, data platforms, disaster recovery, virtualization, identity management, and IT operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure solutions align with the Azure Well-Architected Framework and Cloud Adoption Framework.
