We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with strong proficiency in Unix/Linux systems. As a DevOps engineer, you will work with development and operations teams to build, deploy, and manage infrastructure using AWS cloud services, while leveraging automation and monitoring tools to ensure a scalable, secure, and high-performance environment. You will be responsible for streamlining deployment pipelines, infrastructure management, and improving the overall software delivery process.Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation).Automate deployment pipelines, build, test, and release workflows using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar.Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar tools.Collaborate with development teams to design scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant infrastructure.Monitor system performance, identify issues, and optimize infrastructure for cost, performance, and security.Ensure the reliability, security, and compliance of infrastructure by implementing best practices for cloud security, such as IAM roles/policies, VPC, Security Groups, NACLs, and other AWS security services.Manage and troubleshoot Unix/Linux-based servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat, etc.) for application and infrastructure services.Automate operational processes for system monitoring, backups, patch management, and disaster recovery.Build and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar container orchestration tools.Implement log management and monitoring solutions using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.Ensure proper versioning and management of configuration, deployment scripts, and application infrastructure.Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, provide root cause analysis, and suggest improvements.Participate in on-call rotation and respond to critical production issues.Required Skills and Qualifications:4+ years of experience working with AWS cloud technologies (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.).Strong experience in working with Unix/Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL, etc.), including shell scripting and system administration.Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, AWS CodePipeline, etc.Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.Strong knowledge of Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or ECS.Familiarity with AWS Lambda and serverless architectures.Experience with system monitoring and alerting tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Ruby for automation.Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, Load Balancers, etc.) and how to configure them in AWS.Experience in implementing security best practices for cloud infrastructure (e.g., encryption, IAM policies, network security, etc.).Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an Agile team environment.
