Role: DevOps Engineer
Job Description
DevOps Engineer to work collaboratively with the software development team to deploy and operate the systems. You'll be responsible to ensure the system is running smoothly and is being monitored continuously to resolve issues.
Job Responsibilities
Analyze and debug difficult server performance issues, identify bottlenecks and optimize product/service performance to improve user experience
Uses coding languages or scripting methodologies to solve a problem with a custom workflow.
Respond to service outages/incidents and ensure system uptime requirements / SLAs are met
Automate provisioning and deployment of infrastructure and services across large enterprise cloud platform
Build automated performance and test tooling to measure performance (collect metrics/monitoring) to bring end-to-end visibility and understanding to the performance of our systems/services
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies
Performs incremental testing actions on code, processes, and deployments to identify ways to streamline execution and minimize errors encountered.
Uses open source technologies and tools to accomplish specific use cases encountered within the project.
Provides direct and responsive support for urgent analytic needs.
Implements streaming analysis algorithms to generate question-focused data sets (QFDs).
Requirements
2+ years of DevOps experience and managing the entire infrastructure
2+ years of experience with cloud technologies ( Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, ELK etc)
2+ years of experience working on AWS platform including scripting and automation
2+ year of experience with Infrastructure as Code on Ansible / Vagrant / Terraform
2+ years of experience API Restful and web portal
Strong background in Linux
Strong programming and development skills in Perl / Python in a Linux like environment to ensure operations automation and data collection
Familiarity with SQL / MySQL
Excellent communication skills as you will be working with teams across different geographies
Education: Any UG and Nay PG
Nice to Have: DevOps Engineer experience in any technology
Nice to Have: Dockers & Kubernetes, Jenkins's skill experience is must
Nice to Have: :Prometheus Grafana, Cloud Watch
Nice to have App- Sec skills (Application Security)
Location: Chennai, India
Notice Period: Immediate or 30 days.
