We are actively seeking a seasoned Lead DevOps Engineer to bolster our team with expertise in AWS Cloud Networking and Cloud-to-on-prem connectivity. Responsibilities
- Spearhead the creation and execution of automated network configurations in the cloud
- Manage the seamless integration of on-premise systems with cloud-based infrastructures
- Supervise and enhance the efficiency and performance of cloud resources
- Establish and implement stringent cloud security and compliance protocols
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure flawless deployment of applications
- Initiate and lead ongoing enhancements in cloud operations and infrastructure
- Provide mentorship in cloud technologies and DevOps processes to team members
- Address and solve intricate technical challenges within cloud environments
- Oversee cloud expenditure and predict future resource requirements
- Keep abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the cloud computing industry
Requirements
- Over 5 years of direct hands-on experience in DevOps Engineering, with a focus on AWS technologies
- At least one year of experience in a leadership role managing a team
- Expert knowledge of AWS networking, including VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, and Route 53 hybrid setups
- Deep understanding of AWS Organizations and SCPs for robust cloud account management
- Highly skilled in Terraform and other tools for automating AWS infrastructure management
- Demonstrated leadership in projects using API Gateway & AWS Lambda (Python) to develop cloud-native applications
- Comprehensive experience in managing IAM roles, STS, federation, and cloud security measures
- Practical experience in optimizing EC2, S3 policies, Lambda functions, and other AWS services for production use
- Advanced proficiency in Python 3 for automation and scripting tasks
- Strong foundation in agile methodologies, DevOps best practices, and team leadership
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, proven by a track record of successful cloud implementations
- Fluent in English, with a B2 level or higher for effective global team collaboration
Nice to have
- Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or Docker Swarm
- Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
- AWS or other relevant cloud technology certifications
